Marking and Cutting Bias Binding

Cut a piece of poster board as wide as you need your binding, 1 1/2 inches - 3 inches depending on your project. The poster board strip should be at least 26 inches long. Cut parallel 45 degree angles at each end. By placing the angle cut on your fabric selvages, you can mark cutting lines easily and quickly across your fabric.
